Getting There

S 35°43.474 . E 174°19.599
Navigation Chart No. NZ5215

It is recommended for yachts to motor the final 3nm of the river on the rising tide and favour the outside curves of the river.

The channel is marked and dredged to a minimum of 1 mtr below Chart Datum (lowest tide). The river bottom is soft mud. The tidal range is 2 - 3 mtrs.

The marina is between an "opening-on-demand" bridge, and just before a small bridge, so you can’t miss us!

See the bridge opening instructions.
